About MoFoLog
MoFoLog is a mobile phone photo log. The intention is to snap subjects from every day life and instantly being able to share them.
Equipment
The new SonyEricsson K750i mobile phone has a 2 mega pixel camera, auto focus, digital zoom and a tiny flash. Suddenly it is possible to take OK photos for web purposes.
Software
I am using a Python script based on Joi Ito's mail2entry. This allows me to email in an entry from a mobile phone where the photo is a standard attachment.
The script has been modified to accept more character encodings, to resize incoming images and to create various thumbnails.
The Point
The point is to see whether the MoFoLog can be an alternative way to capture and share photographs.
More simply I wanted to see whether it could be done!
